In the recipe settings, you can turn on and off functionality in the recipe area.

Show/Hide	Show Partial recipe in menu	This will only affect the menu
Show/Hide	Show Alias in menu	This will only affect the menu
Show/Hide	Show BOM in menu	This will only affect the menu
Active/Inactive	Partial recipe	**This will have influence on the recipe
Active/Inactive	Alias	**This will have influence on the recipe
Active/Inactive	BOM (Build of material)	**This will have influence on the recipe
