TwinCat 3 Install License

  1. Insert License key to USB port
  2. Open TwinCAT project
    1. At the right corner of the screen is located the TwinCAT icon.
    2. Right click the icon and select “TwinCAT XAE(VS 2013)”
    3. When the TwinCAT will open, create a "New TwinCAT Project".
  3. Add device to project
    1. Inside the project there is a left panel with all the components.
    2. Extend “IO” field and right click on the “Devices” and press “Scan”
    3. Press “OK” and “Yes” to activate Free Run and in the Window with the devices found, select the USB and press “OK” and “Yes” to scan for boxes
  4. Link Dongle to project. This is needed for the USB key to sync with the PC.
